Kristene Cristobal, MS, founded Cristobal Consulting in 2013 with a vision of creating lasting positive social impact, building on the strengths of individuals and communities. Her passions are supporting high quality, equitable health for all, vibrant neighborhoods, engaged individuals, and socially responsible organizations.

Kristene has dedicated her career to health care and community impact since 1995 as a health educator, consultant, program evaluator, and change agent. She has worked in the areas of operational and quality improvement, women’s health, spread and sustainability of effective practices, and culturally competent care. Kristene has also partnered with numerous community-based organizations, health care delivery systems, community health centers, health plans, academic institutions, government departments, and foundations.

Prior to forming Cristobal Consulting, Kristene worked with Kaiser Permanente for over 12 years. Her successes include directing a team to run the Improvement Institute, which contributed to Kaiser’s national strategy for a performance improvement system, infrastructure, and capability building. 

Kristene earned her MS in Maternal and Child Health at the Harvard School of Public Health and her BA in Neuroscience at Oberlin College.
